Cradle exercise
Pass to the right, give a treat
Pass to the right, look in ear
Pass look in mouth - paw. Distract with treat.
FORM TIGHT CIRCLE
Socialize shy dogs first and explain - play - let leash drag. Dominance and fighting. Put pups in center to keep pups in circle.
CALL DOGS OUT ONE AT A TIME.
Go to pup and put food on nose, say come.
Explain - call only to a positive (call from seat or stand as needed.)
Touch collar when calling to come.
Release with go play.
Explain play as a reward.
MOVE FROM CIRCLE TO LINE
1 or 2 at a time to slow progress of sit, down and stand, (5 commands, 1 reward) Everyone should watch to learn.
Take it and off.
HOLD PUP ACROSS FROM OWNERS
Owners call pup. Let go. Direct pups towards owners.
STAY - SIT OR DOWN.
SHORT- distance - duration- distraction. DO NOT TAKE YOUR EYES OFF YOUR PUP.
DOWN STAY - Stay low close to pup, put hand (2 fingers) on inguinal area, rub or put slight pressure below withers. (sit stays at doorways).
WALK ON LOOSE LEASH - Say "easy" - give tug. Go in opposite direction. Stand still until leash is slack. Circle to the left - Hold leash low.

HOMEWORK
1. Sit / stay at front door
2. Down before feeding
3. Sit, Down, Stand, Down, Sit
4. Take it off

PRACTICE THROUGHOUT THE DAY (not all at once)
LESSON / WEEK 3
1. Cradle and Handling. Pass pup to the right
2. Socialize, call dogs.
3. Sit / stay with ball distraction
4. Down / stay with "poison popcorn"
5. Come when called

1. Food treat in each hand.
2. Step and sit (left hand on nose, right hand for sit)
B. Attention - "Look" for 3 seconds ( or name)

LESSON / WEEK 4
BRING A TOWEL OR THE DOGS BED.
While pup is playing, go up to pup and pull tail and give treat. Get pups excited, then sit. Bubbles, pop gun, distractions.
