When the new Rottweiler has torn up your in-progress screenplay one too many times, the Labrador's teeth marks on your Ferragamos are getting tiresome and you can't stop your Yorkshire terrier from going for your agent's ankles, Shelby Marlo is the one to call. This kinder, gentler trainer believes in "positive reinforcement and treats" - a combo that's apparently enticed Al Pacino, Maria Shriver, Bridget Fonda, Dionne Warwick, Laura Dern, Kevin Costner, Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand to turn to her for everything from correcting behavioral boo-boos to handling long-term boarding needs. "Frank and I are delighted with what Shelby has accomplished for our weimaraner," says Barbra Sinatra, who describes Marlo as "calm, loving and authoritative." She has been able to bring out the personality of my little girl," gushes Dionne Warwick. "She loves Rio as if she were her own."
